Authenticated in Claude Code but Atlassian tool fetch is failing

Question

After yesterday's incident was resolved, Rovo was back to working normally but this morning (22 Oct. 2026), I could not use my skill that uses Rovo to pull my Jira tickets. When I used /mcp in Claude Code, I saw that I was authenticated but the tool fetch was failing. I disconnected from the Rovo MCP from Claude settings in my web browser but when I tried to reconnect, the page is blank and nothing loads. Specifically, from the terminal, I see:

Authenticating with claude.ai Atlassian Rovo…

✢  A browser window will open for authentication

The browser window opens to the following and when I click "Continue connecting," I get navigated to a blank page that never loads.

I'm currently seeing a similar error. The MCP server connected through Claude Code stopped working. I tried to reauthenticate in multiple browsers, but the page never loads. Opening dev tools shows some 429 errors on the network tab. My pre-incident authentication through acli still works though, so I'm able to use that for now.
