Trello notifications not working

When someone tags me in Trello I never receive an email notification.

According to this,

" at any time, you’ll get notifications when…

• You are mentioned in a comment.
• You are added to a card, board, or Workspace.
• One of your boards is closed.
• When someone makes you an admin of a board or Workspace.
• You are mentioned in a checklist item.
• You are assigned to a checklist item."
  
  In my Trello settings, email notifications are set to "on", and "Instantly" is selected. But I am still not receiving any emails when someone tags me. And this is obviously impacting team workflow and productivity.
  
  There's never anything in Junk/Spam. The only emails I get from Trello are the daily roundups, and an email when someone moves a card or changes the due date of a card on our board. I am getting no personalised alerts.
  
  Has anyone else had this issue? (And solved it?)

Hi Jamie,

Two quick ideas to check and narrow it down:

1. First, ask the person tagging you to use the @ dropdown and select your name. A typed name may look right, but it won’t create a real mention.
2. Second, take a look at the bell icon in Trello. If the mention appears there, the issue is likely with email delivery. Check which email address is linked to your Atlassian account, then search all your mail folders for trello.com and make sure no automation/virus scanner catches/moves or deletes, or blocks the mail. If nothing appears in the bell, the mention may not have registered.

Did you have issues with your mailbox recently?
Atlassian sometimes blocks mail after a single bounce.
