Cannot link confluence space as articles source

I have Customer Service Managament and I want to add articles. To do that, JIRA offers possibility to either select or create required confluence space.

Either option says it completed successfully, but Articles page still offers only possibility to link or create space again, and not to add article.

I tried all possible permission combination and still it looks like JIRA does not correctly see Confluence.

Have you been looking into Confluence if the new space is created? I would also check if the space has at least one page or a knowledge base article published before trying to link Confluence as a Knowledge space.

Hi Martin.

Yes, space is created and has two demo pages inside. I also try adding the third one. It did not help.

Then I tried to create Jira Service Management board - which should also be able to link Knowledbase / there I say I want to use Confluence as source, and then it tells me that confluence is already set up (which is not true if I just created such space), and it does not present a selection of confluence spaces, but just option to open confluence or close dialog. And it repeats in circles. Jira thinks confluence is not set up, confluence is set up and works and nothing helps / browser cleaning or refresh or Rovo…

Hi,

First one refers to external knowledge base site - we have internal one / under same site, so not external connection is defined or should be required.

Second one - Space has home page.

I would say that for some reason JIRA does not see Confluence correctly although they reside in same Site.

What's doubtful. We will mostly be speculating. I think you should report that to support so they can inspect the backend.
