Fields update

Hey!
I was recently made the lead of a space in Jira. I'm trying to update the task's template, trying to update the list of possible values in a dropdown.

Unfortunately, I can't. I thought it'd be something like this: Announcing the ability to re-use global custom fields in team-managed projects - Atlassian, but I don't see within Spaces any option for Fields section.

Can anyone help me, please? Am I missing some permit access?

Where you edit a dropdown's options depends on the space type, and being space lead doesn't change that.

In a team-managed space, a space admin can do it from the space's ••• menu > Space settings > Fields, then the field's ••• menu > Edit field: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/customize-an-issues-fields-in-team-managed-projects/

Since you don't see a Fields page, it's most likely a company-managed space. There the options live in the field's context, and only a Jira admin can change them (Settings > Work items > Fields > ••• > Contexts and default value > Edit context): https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/edit-a-custom-fields-options/

So the quickest fix is to send your Jira admin the field name and the values you need. Is the space team-managed or company-managed?
