email Domain change and forgetto update my profile

Hi,

My company is an Atlassian customer and uses Jira and Confluence. I personally use Trello to organize my work tasks, but this Trello account is associated with my old work email address.

In spring 2026, my company migrated our email addresses to a new domain name for Jira and the associated Atlassian applications. Since I was using Trello for personal work tasks, I didn't update the email address associated with my Trello account.

After a period of absence, I can no longer log in to my Trello account because it remains linked to my old email address, which I no longer have access to.

How can I regain access to my account and/or update the associated email address, even though I no longer have access to the old one?

Atlassian is not able to change the email address. Please check out the page here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/recovering-your-trello-account/

You don't use that email anymore

You may no longer have access to the email address associated with your account. This happens sometimes when you change jobs and aren't using your work email anymore. This can also happen if you delete your email account. For security reasons, we are not able to change the email address on your account (see below). Your best bet is to contact your former employer directly and ask if they can help you reclaim your Trello account by temporarily re-opening your old email account.

Since it is the old domain, you can ask the internal IT team if they can help with it.
