Trello Chat

We have Trello available for all user in our tenant. The issue is that it is sending chats out beginning of the day and end of day. This user is not using trello did not ask for trello chats and there is not way I see to stop the chats being unsolicited. this is not all users. just a few. need to know how to prevent chats if users are not using trello

This behavior typically occurs when the Trello bot/integration is installed in your enterprise chat platform (most commonly Microsoft Teams or Slack) and is triggering automated morning and end-of-day digests or standup reminders.

You could try the below troubleshooting steps depending on where the chat messages are appearing:

If the chats are in Microsoft Teams:

Uninstall/ Block the Bot:
- Have the user go to their Chat list in Teams.
- Right-click the Trello bot/app in the chat list and select Uninstall (or click the three dots ... next to the chat —> Mute/ Block).
Manage Personal App Notifications:
- Open the 1:1 chat with the Trello bot.
- If the bot provides interactive cards, look for a Settings —> Pause, or Turn off notifications button.
- In Teams Settings —> Notifications —> Apps, ensure notifications for Trello are toggled off.

If the chats are in Slack:

Turn off DM alerts:
- In Slack, open the direct message with @Trello .
- Type /trello alerts or /trello settings to view and disable personal notification schedules.
- Users can also right-click the Trello app in Slack and choose Mute or remove the app.

There is no way to uninstall or and the mute/block was done already by the user and the chats still come back

I am sorry to know that those suggestions didn't work out. Below are few more options to try out:

Kill command
- Open the 1:1 chat with the Trello bot.
- Type and send: logout
- If logout is not recognized, try: notifications off or stop
Disconnect Trello
- Navigate to id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/apps
- Alternatively, in Trello, navigate to trello.com/my/account and scroll down to the Applications/ Authorized Applications section.
- Look for Trello for Microsoft Teams.
- Click Revoke/ Disconnect.
  - Once revoked, the backend service loses its API access token and cannot generate or push card summaries to that user.

Your Teams administrator can also restrict the Trello app for specific users through the Teams admin center.

I cleared her Teams Cache and the chat disappeared late afternoon yesterday. we are going to see if it comes back
