Display public name

Hello, my full name consists of 4 names, while my public name is only 2 names. I have the option of using my public name outside my organization, but internally, it displays my full name. How can i change it so that my public name is the one used across all apps?

This is normal for managed Atlassian accounts. Your public name is visible externally, while colleagues see your full name.

Currently, there’s no option to use your public name everywhere. If you want your shorter name displayed internally, your full name must be updated by your organization's administrator or through your identity provider (like Entra ID) if synchronized.
