Will we ever be able to add a column to show what BOARD the cards are in? And maybe even be able to sort by more columns than just DUE DATE?
Hi @Jason Gerber
Here is a breakdown of what is already possible today in Trello (and where), how to access multi-board views with a "Board" column, and the current capabilities for sorting cards:
If you are trying to view cards across multiple boards in a spreadsheet/table layout with a dedicated Board column:
This is available through Trello Workspace Table View (available on Trello Premium and Enterprise plans):
In the Workspace Table view:
If you want cards to automatically stay sorted by specific attributes (like priority or alphabetical order) without manually clicking sort:
I hope this helps. 🙂
Thanks, Anwesha
I only have CARD, LIST, LABELS, MEMBERS, and DUE DATE….and I can only sort by Due Date.
In Trello’s native Table view, clicking column headers to sort is currently restricted almost exclusively to the Due Date column.
Could you please click on the 3 dots (…) on your list? check if there is Sort By option
If you are inside a board and switched the view from Board to Table in the top-left switcher, Trello treats it as a single-board view and omits the Board column.

Hey @Jason Gerber,
In case it's helpful, Amazing Fields (an Essential Power-Up) has a table view with an array of sorting options. You can sort by any field, including native Trello fields.
You can also:
A board breakdown isn't part of that table view yet, but the Power-Up is always being improved, so keep an eye out for future updates.
You can install Amazing Fields from the Trello Power-Ups directory and set everything up. Read more here: https://trello.com/power-ups/60e068efb294647187bbe4f5/amazing-fields
Hope this helps! Reach out to the Amazing Fields team for more help if needed: support@amazingpowerups.com.
