video stops but audio continues

trying to record a tab in chrome. eveything seemed fine no errors, but the video stopped recording a couple minutes i but the audo kept recording. sound settings were fine,no errors were shown other screen recorders experienced the same video clipping but Alt-Z recordd both video and audio just fine tried loom desktop as well same problem

enable Use fallback recorder in Loom (Settings → Video & audio) and restart, which switches processing from GPU to CPU. If that resolves it or if disabling Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in Windows helps it will confirm a GPU/driver-level capture issue.

Could you share your Windows version, GPU model, and whether the fallback recorder changed the result?
