I want to wish all the Canadians happy Canada day yesterday. 159 years! I hope the celebrations went well and you all had an awesome time.

And on Saturday is America´s independence day - whopping 250 years! Congratulations all Americans on the semiquincentennial. Party safe on Saturday.

Happy Thursday, @Kristján Geir Mathiesen, and thanks for the cheerful post.

Belated Canada Day wishes to all the Canadians, and an early happy Independence Day to everyone in the US. 250 years is quite the milestone. This one lands a little differently for me this year, since a move stateside is on my own horizon, so I will be watching the celebrations with extra interest. Wishing everyone a safe and fun Saturday. Let's make it a great Thursday indeed!

Happy Canada Day!

I’ve seen that a couple of people I know are currently in Toronto, getting ready for today’s Croatia–Portugal game, so I’m guessing there’ll be a party no matter the result. 😄

Jimmy Seddon

Enjoy the time off everyone! I know many people at our company on both sides of the border have taken the entire week off.

Dan Breyen

Hope everyone in Canada and in the U.S have a great holiday. In our neighborhood I'm sure we'll be hearing loud noises for several hours as people will be enjoying their fireworks. The louder ones having been procured from long drives into other states where you can buy them.

Thanks, @Kristján Geir Mathiesen. I hope everyone in Canada and the US enjoy(ed) the celebrations.

We are actually celebrating with a dinner at the Le Cellier Steakhouse restaurant in the Canada section of Epcot. This is purported to be the best restaurant at Disneyworld, and I gave my nephew a dinner there as his Christmas present. We were going to go in June, but we had to change our reservation. I just realized how appropriate it is to go this week.

His parents are going too (though they can pay for themselves 😀). Since we are passholders, we aren't bothered about long lines for rides; we can just enjoy the special fireworks. Since my brother-in-law will drive, he can deal with all the traffic getting out of the parking lot afterward. Reservations for the park are full, and I'm sure everyone will be staying for the fireworks.

Happy 250th Birthday, America!!!

Happy 250 years America!

Happy Canada Day to Canada! However, in Newfoundland July 1st is both Memorial Day and Canada Day. Memorial Day has been observed in Newfoundland since 1917 - from before it was a province of Canada!

Have great time Folks 🤠😊

Andy Gladstone

To celebrate both countries, my wife and I (sans all of our children - none are home this month 🥳) will be spending this weekend split between the United States and Canada!

July 4th at home in NYC.

July 5 in Toronto (sorry @Jimmy Seddon and @Susan Hauth _Jira Queen_ (or @Susan Hauth _Toronto ACE Leader_) we will only be there for a few hours, otherwise I would have tried to make plans to meet up!)

July 6-15 in Revelstoke, British Columbia

Looking forward to picking up some Canada Day swag during our stay, and the fireworks this Saturday night in NYC!

Susan Hauth _Jira Queen_

@Andy Gladstone , Aww we are going to miss you. Happy July 4th to my fellow Americans. Canada day was a wonderful day here, we spent the day sailing around Toronto with our huge Canadian flag up on the sailboat. Enjoy BC, it's absolutely beautiful out there.
