Can we call the ira rovo agents programmatically?

I am creating a ROVO Agenet from Jira studio. The purpose of this agent is to generate some release documents like validation plan, test summary etc to ease the release process.

Is there a way I can call the above agent programmatically? Are there any REST apis available for it?

If the REST APIs are not available, what is the best practice?

To summarize: Unfortunately, there is no public REST API to call Rovo Agents directly at this time.

Hi @Venugopalan, Vibin - welcome to the Community,

you can't call a Rovo Agent directly.

You can however use trigger Rovo Agents via Automation. That Automation could listen to something within your Atlassian environment OR listen to an incoming Webhook.

That way, you can trigger that Agent from outside of Atlassian.

Note that currently Agents don't perform actions autonomously within Automations but only return a response. You then need to use that response to take further actions. I expect some updates around that around Team '26.
