using SourceTree 3.4.27:

when pulling from Azure Git repo, I get asked the login/PAT at least twice even though "remember password" is checked.  the password window is not on the same screen as SourceTree and may be behind other windows.

I thought I may be able to improve this situation by adding a "hosting account" in Options.

Hosting:  Azure DevOps

host URL:  https://dev.azure.com/companydomain/_git/projectname/

auth with:  myname@companydomain, PAT

 

"Authentication failed

failed to check login for user [myname@companyname.com]

page not found"

 

this is a pretty lame situation.  are there any solutions for any of this?

Hey @Mike P ,

For "Host URL", can you try using 

https://dev.azure.com/yourorganization/

format and not the full repo URL with _git/projectname/?

As for the rest, you should be able to use your Azure DevOps username, PAT as the password.
