Auxiliary Configuration for Perforce Job Integration

Question

Hi All,

I'm stuck here, I've looked over all the documentation but I still can't find an answer. Long story short, our JIRA instance has the Fisheye plugin installed, it's worked fine, we added a new perforce instance and I was trying get the Perforce Job Integration module to work with the new instance. I went through the documentation for setting up an auxiliary configuration, but I still just keep getting this incorrect  password below. I'm positive the password is correct I've used it to login. What am I missing here? Is there something I can check maybe on the perforce side, JIRA side, any side? 
  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem connecting to Perforce: 
com.perforce.api.CommitException java.io.IOException: error: Perforce password (P4PASSWD) invalid or unset.  
Your P4PASSWD (or Ticket file if you have one specified) may be missing or corrupt

HI Gustavo, Thank you very much for your reply. I do understand that fisheye is a separate application, we have it running with the original perforce instance. the entire setup works when we have the following configuration 1 JIRA instance, 1 Fisheye instance, 1 Perforce instance. What I'd like to do is add 1 extra perforce instance to the mix.

When I make reference to the plugin, this is what I'm referring to :) . I used this documentation to try to set up, but im still stuck with the current error.

I'll still give your reference a try see maybe if I can set the passwords to be the same.

Hi CAM,

The error you're getting is further described at https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=192479715. Can you please review this document and check if the proposed resolution helps?

Please notice you need to apply it to the server in which FishEye runs (you mentioned FishEye as being a JIRA plugin, while it's actually a separate application that integrates with JIRA. Please make sure to work the resolution above in the FishEye server, assuming your Perforce repo is indexed by FishEye).
