As the Community Champion for Yerevan, I’ll proudly share the experience from our very first ACE earlier this year, aaaand we’re already on our way to the third. Time flies 😄

But no matter how many events we run, that first ACE will always feel the most special to me. Maybe it’s because it marked the official launch of the Yerevan chapter, or because it was the moment everything truly came to life: the energy, the people, and the excitement in the room made it unforgettable.

Ive had the pleasure this year of attending a variety of ACE's and even speaking at 2 - shout out to Yorkshire, Amsterdam and Berlin! I love meeting fellow enthusiasts and sharing hints and tips! I also love that when I attend different countries ACE's we also still have something in common and plenty to talk about.

I have attended several virtual ACEs when I have the time in my schedule and am glad for the recordings of those I can't attend. As I concentrate on Confluence, many of my events are presented by @Rob Hean. I recommend these to everyone; they are engaging and as interactive as they can be for participants using the chat feature.

I attend many ACE events, 100% online for obvious reasons, and they cover a variety of topics, preferably Confluence, Jira, and lately Rovo, to stay up-to-date with the latest Atlassian news.

For those of us who don't have a community in our cities, ACE events are a great source of knowledge, sharing, and learning from the best.

Inevitably, I almost always see something I haven't thought of before or a useful trick that I didn't know existed. Without any ACE's, I wouldn't be as efficient as I am now. So, we just wrapped up our Atlassian GINgle Bells Quiz yesterday, and I jumped in as the main audio & tech guy (and DJ 🎛️) for the night
It turned out to be an amazing event, just like every ACE gathering, but also a special one since it was actually our first Atlassian-themed (pub) quiz. People said they loved it 💙

Besides helping with the setup, I somehow ended up as one of the questions in the “caricature / guess the person” round… right alongside Mike, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and a few others. (For the record, I didn’t suggest that! 😂)

I’ve participated in various virtual ACEs sessions whenever possible, and I enjoy the one from @Robert Hean so much. Since my main focus is on Confluence, I highly recommend these sessions to everyone; they are engaging and maximize interaction through the chat feature. Now he is also into Loom, which is excellent!

I've already attended so many great community events - both in-person and virtual meetups - and each time I think how great the community is. The latest community event that I attended in person was in Kyiv. And I was impressed by it - nice people, great presentations, and amazing atmosphere.

I have worked with the Atlassian platform for over 10 years but I found out about ACE about a year ago. I don't know how I have missed this for all this time.

I have met a lot of new friends here in Stockholm via the community. We are still quite a small group but i think we will grow bigger during next year.

One really fun thing was the Scandinavian meetup in Barcelona where we got the chance to have dinner together with our colleagues from the Nordics.

There are two aspects of the global ACEs that I really enjoy:

I have struggled with insomnia since I was a little kid. Instead of rearranging a drawer (again) and timewasting, I can digitally join groups halfway across the globe and see the cool ideas, designs, development outlines, and project plans, even though, it's 2-3AM where I am at. I've met up with folks for dev collabs and brainstorming solution designs. Wellington, Noida, Lahore, Dublin (I got to go to their 1st one), Brisbane (go Lions!), Cologne, Faridabad, and (just a few hours ago) Melbourne. I enjoy getting to learn the new communities and folks in them, and chat with new Atlassian Community members .
I am always interested in different Teams' challenges, approaches, and solutions across the globe are using. A team in one region usually has a totally different SOP/solution architecture for similar issues than a team in another region. Or, two exact same team types (re: both ITSM) have two very different #1 priority challenges. It's awesome to see this variance in what teams and their clients need to tackle first in troubleshooting/solutions development--and loiterers in the chat like me love seeing these different trends!

ACEs are especially meaningful to me. My career as an Atlassian Expert has been shaped as much by this community as by the tools themselves.

What sets ACEs apart is the practical, firsthand knowledge shared within the community. Unlike standard tech conferences that may focus on sales, ACEs prioritize real people addressing everyday challenges. The openness to share effective, behind-the-scenes solutions is unmatched. My main takeaway from the last events is that, regardless of your expertise, there is always someone who has discovered an innovative way to use Jira, Confluence, or other tools. The opportunity to learn in this community is continuous.
