The assignment: Did you know that Loom includes a powerful meeting assistant that can help you capture all the important details from your meetings?
The Loom AI meeting notetaker links to your Google or Outlook calendar and joins your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams calls to record them. Afterward, attendees get a recap email with AI-written notes and action items, so everyone can stay focused on the conversation, and people who missed the meeting can catch up quickly.
Learn how to setup Loom to record your meetings and let it do your homework, um, I mean, take notes, for you! (Please note: The Loom AI meeting notetaker (automatic meeting notes and recaps) is only on Loom Business + AI and Enterprise.)
Part of our CliffsNotes series. Would you rather watch the movie, skim the CliffNotes, or read the book? Below are all 3 options!
🎥 Watch the movie:
🗒️ Read the CliffNotes:
If you’re ready to put your pen and notebook away and let AI take your meeting notes for you, here’s all you need to do:
- Connect your calendar - go to Loom, click Meetings on the left. Follow the prompts to allow Loom access to your calendar.
- Record automatically or manually? You need to decide if you want Loom to automatically record all meetings, just internal meetings, or add meetings manually. If you choose manual, you can add repeating meetings just once, and Loom will record the series.
- Share meeting recaps - Do you want to share the meeting recaps with all meeting participants, just internal participants, or just you?
- Location, location, location! For Confluence page recaps, choose the space where these will be created
- Moving forward: If you choose to manually record meetings, go to Loom - Meetings anytime to toggle meeting recording on and off.
