Sourcetree crashes a bit after starting becasue of EMauSubmissionService

Question

I can enter Sourcetree and work in it for about 20 seconds and then it crashes. I have looked at the logs and this is the error: --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter`1.GetResult() at SourceTree.Analytics.Emau.EMauSubmissionService.d__40.MoveNext() ERROR [2025-10-24 14:06:47,189] [29] [SourceTree.Analytics.Emau.EMauSubmissionService] [Log] - Response status code does not indicate success: 502 (Bad Gateway). Bad Gateway ERROR [2025-10-24 14:06:47,189] [29] [SourceTree.Analytics.Emau.EMauSubmissionService] [Log] - 502 ERROR [2025-10-24 14:06:47,190] [36] [SourceTree.App] [Log] - Object reference not set to an instance of an object. The application is terminating. System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at SourceTree.Analytics.Emau.EMauSubmissionService.d__40.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- So it crashes because of EMauSubmissionService. Can I disable that in any way? Because this is pretty big downside. I am using Windows 11

I have added this to the user.config False and sourcetree didnt crash in the next 2-3 hours that I have tested it. Comment that suggested this said that it helps but doesnt resolve the problem so we will see. Windows was updated last night so it might have been the update. I have restarted computer in hopes of fixing the problem but it didnt help.

Do you have any pending Windows updates?  Have you restarted your computer and is it still happening after restarting?
