Cannot add member to my new space in free plan

Hi Community Team.

I have just set up my Trello account and first space. But when I tried to add members to my current space, the system wants me to set Role for the member. However, when I hover to the Role, it said 'Space roles aren't editable on free plan' and don't allow me to add the member. Which is weird since I read that you can add up to 10 collaborators in free plan.

Can you please help me find why this happens and how can I resolve this?

I think you are adding users on Jira Project and not on Trello application. 

But here is some insights on this : On the free plan the way you add people to projects is by adding them to your instance from admin.atlassian.com. Because you are on the free plan anyone that is added to your instance will have access to all projects. If you want to limit which projects a user have access to then you have to upgrade to the standard plan.
