Have craeted a API token. But not able to login to source tree using my API token and Email Address. Getting Account not found error

it think you have to use for Bitbucket Cloud (including Sourcetree), your Bitbucket username (handle), not your email, together with the API token. Using your email will trigger “Account not found.”

Well the documentation from Atlassian which is "always useful" states it needs to be the email address. However even if you try either it doesn't work.I've been fighting this all morning but totally locked out of Bitbucket from a Git perspective. Terrible documentation on this. I can't even revert to app passwords as they have been depreciated but actually worked!!
