@[deleted], as far as i know, the Microsoft maintained SSO apps for Jira & Confluence never had a sync when it comes to users. It was always just-in-time-provisioning.
If you have a data center license, then you can simply swap to the native SAML SSO of Jira & Confluence. Feature wise it's a 1:1 replacement. Ignoring the fact, that eventually not the app itself is the problem.
If you want more advanced apps that apart of SSO also give you user provisioning, etc. Then the apps of Kantega, Resolution, miniOrange will do their job.
