🎉Feel Good Friday: What is your favorite hobby?

Anwesha Pan

🎉It's Friyayyyy! and I thought it’d be the perfect time to ask:

What is your favorite hobby?

- Yes I asked for favorite 😄

I have multiple hobbies, like creating mandala art, henna, crafting, nail arts and so more. So wanted to check with you as well what's your favorite hobby?

✨ Creating mandala is my all time favorite ✨

I get to release all the stress and it grounds me so much that's the best part about it.

✨ Another favorite one beside doodling is crafting

Your mandala is amazing! I have many hobbies as well, but there are two that tie as favorite - reading and creating art. I initially started painting with acrylic paint using patterns, but then I discovered mixed media, then watercolor, so now I pretty much turn anything into art. It makes me happy and is a stress reliever that helps me refocus on what matters.

Fixing things.. doesn't really matter what.

Your mandala is beautiful! I have a few hobbies, but reading is by far my favourite. I always have my nose stuck in a book and I can't walk past a bookstore or book sale without having a look for my next read. The only problem is that I'm rapidly running out of room for them all!

It’s hard to pick just one hobby because I have so many I enjoy. Probably the one that brings me the most joy is running my small papercrafts business ✨ I spend my weekends designing and handcrafting everything from wedding invitations and birthday cards to cake toppers and photo albums.

It’s the perfect escape from the screen and make something meaningful that puts a smile on someone’s face 💙

Here are some examples:

And yes, I do have a Jira board for tracking my orders 🙈

Hope everyone has a great Friday and even better weekend! ✨

I never leave home without a book because there's a chance I will get a few minutes to read while I'm out.

Mario GELES

I avoid bookstores as much as possible because I often leave it with a dozen books and a hole in my budget ^^'

My favorites hobbies are reading and writing. There is not a single day without reading no matter what it is (novel or comics or manga etc). For the writing it's more conflictuous sometimes I will write daily one hour or two, sometimes I will spend months without writing

That's so satisfying right @Ellis, Kathy It's always so fun to explore different types and textures of colors

Thank you for sharing!

That feeling after you fix something always puts smile on your face I bet

Anwesha Pan

Thanks @James O_Connor

I absolutely get that since I face the similar kind when I come across someone else's mandala or crafts and i keep checking

Anwesha Pan

Wow look at that @Brita Moorus It's soooooo beautiful. I love it ✨

Can i have the name of your IG handle or pinterest I can look into?

FYI - I am able to see only the first pic you have posted, others didn't upload may be correctly?

Anwesha Pan

@Mario GELES thank you for sharing too!

I used to love reading as a kid, have a huge collection of comics, novels etc., but somehow I got drifted to other passions and I left reading books behind

Brita Moorus

Thanks for pointing it out, @Anwesha Pan! On desktop it was working fine but not on mobile. It should be fixed now 😊

Mario GELES

@Anwesha Pan
Like you when you were kid I have a huge collection of books. I am not used to go at librairies.

Huzzah, another artist! Drawing is one of my favorites, too. "Crow and Gargoyle" are my favorite characters to draw lately:

I also paint scale models and miniatures, play video games, and do a bit of 3D printing. That papercraft, though...that's spectacular! That takes an impressive amount of dexterity and precision. 💜
