Fisheye Exclude path

Question

If an item is ‘excluded’ by Fisheye, does that prevent Jira updates from showing the code change (when the Jira issue ID is included in the svn commit message)?

If we ‘exclude’ a sub-tree in Fisheye, is there another way we can get email notifications of commits for ‘excluded’  items?

Hi Tushar,

As the item is excluded, any commit on it won't show up in FishEye, and consequently won't show up in JIRA as well, even if you include the JIRA issue ID in the commit (performing the smart commit).

If you, for example, perform a commit containing an excluded item and another item which is not excluded, only the not excluded item will show up (also valid for the smart commit referring to the JIRA issue).

As it is not indexed by FishEye, it is also not possible to send a notification for something FishEye didn't index.
