Your subscription has been canceled

Hi team, one of our employee received email notification that mentioned following:

Hi XYZ,

Your Atlassian cloud subscription for the following products on ABC-team-elav1sr1.atlassian.net has been canceled:* You've been unsubscribed from Jira. From Apr 22, 2025, these products and apps will be deleted, and your data will be deleted. Contact us if you'd like a copy of your data before it's deleted.

This is due to a user request to cancel the subscription. If you would like to reverse this and continue using ABC-team-elav1sr1.atlassian.net please contact us.If you’d like a copy of your data before it’s deleted, or have any other questions about your situation, please contact us.

This seems to be suspicious / potential phishing email however - the domain we received the notification from seems to be an legit though as have received emails since 2024 from the address  i.e. <no_reply@am.atlassian.com>

Due to which I am not sure what is happening here because our license is definitely not up for renewal until July 2025 that I have confirmed. And reaching out to specific end-user instead of tool owner or without an Account manager seems to be odd too. Any thoughts or suggestions here incase if anyone have experienced this as well ?

As suggested in the email, its better you contact the Atlassian support dircetly from https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/.

Atlassian support can check what is really happening and why the email is sent. Atlassian community members will not have access to your site and see what is happening.
