Custom fileds are gone in the free trello version after testing free Premium version

Question

Hello,

unfortunately our custom fields are gone, which we had been using long time before Trello changed the custom fields to the Standard Plan. In the FAQ it says that the boards who had been using them before the change will not lose them. But now they are gone and all our data.

Please help.

Is the premium trial in another workspace?

I am aware of the fact that the custom field power-up still working for legacy users but I think where you used a trial, it may have meant you relinquished your legacy usage of the custom field power-up.

I think the best thing you can do is talk to someone at Trello about this as its a very unique scenario.

But how does this fit with the FAQ where it says: "If you currently have the Custom Fields Power-Up enabled on an existing free board, you can continue to use the feature on that board. However, any newly created boards within a free Workspace will not have the Custom Fields Power-Up available, and will require an upgrade to access Custom Fields on those boards."

So we are using the Custom Fields since years on a free board and even though we have to switch?

The data doesn't disappear, it just isn't accessible when you are using the free plan.  If you upgrade the workspace to Standard or Premium, you custom fields and all the data will magically reappear 🪄
