stop calendar duplicates

Question

i have set up an automation for every card due within 30 days to be copied to a 'month at a glance' board (the cards are still linked); however this duplicates the tasks on the calendar view.

is there anyway of stopping the duplication within the calendar view

* Use Labels Instead of Copying Cards: Instead of copying cards to a new board, apply a specific label to cards that are due within 30 days. You can then use this label to filter views or to create a special calendar view that only shows cards with this label. This avoids duplication because the card remains on its original board and is not physically duplicated.

* Link to Original Cards: If copying is essential, ensure the automation links back to the original card rather than creating a completely new card. This way, even though the card appears on two boards, any updates are reflected across both places. This doesn't prevent duplication in the calendar view but helps manage the task more seamlessly.

* Custom Calendar Views: Some Trello Power-Ups or third-party like Planyway allow for more sophisticated calendar views. It provides options to exclude certain boards or labels from the calendar. You can exclude one of the boards from the calendar view to prevent duplicated entries.

* Modify the Automation Rules: Adjust your automation to perhaps create a checklist or a linked item within a single card on the 'month at a glance' board, summarizing all due tasks instead of copying each card. Hi @James Taylor

You should be able to filter a Board, then switch to the Calendar view - and it will honour the filter you set.

You will then need to have a method to filter them though - eg. add a label to the duplicates using automation - and filter them out.
