Transferring ownership of a board

Question

Hi all,

I started a Trello board while working as a contractor for a company. I no longer work for them but their team are on this board and it is very busy.

I want to back out of it, so I free up my board allocation and don't get any notifications but I don't know how to do this.

Logic would suggest I could transfer ownership of this board to another account on that board and then leave the board.

I think the safest approach is to check the board’s current permissions and make sure the new owner has the access they need before transferring ownership. Hi, I tried following this suggestion. I am no longer part of the board but I can still see it and all the members of the board I left are still visible in my workplace. How could I fully turnover without turning over my entire workspace? I have other projects moving and cannot share access to my workspace.
