upgrading free workspace

I need to upgrade our workspace before April 8. 

I have one workspace, with 8 boards and 71 members. 

My intent is to upgrade to standard, retaining the 8 boards, paying for 7 multi-board licenses. My questions are these:

1. Are the remaining 64 members considered "collaborators" and therefore well over the limit of 10? I was told I needed to remove them and re-invite them as "guests" to a single board to avoid charges. But that's contradictory to the stated limit of 10 collaborators. 

2. Do I need to remove all single-board members before I upgrade the seven multi-board members?

Bridget, you will be charged for all Workspace members and all Multi-board guests. Single Board Guests are free. Details here. You can see the list of members and multi-board guests on the workspace members tab (on the left hand menu, see below). You can remove any members from that page.
