Why I can't view some of my Ideas in the view?

I have created a timeline view and I do not have a lot of ideas yet, but I already see that some of those Ideas are missing in the view, even though they do have the Project start and Project target dates set, which are the only required fields for this view, as far as I understand. Did anyone have this problem? It worries me that once we have more ideas, we might be missing some of those and not notice.

We encountered this problem if the Start date was AFTER the target date... I offer this suggestion as it took a ridiculous number of eyes and snagging before we spotted this schoolboy error. I hope that is helpful.

It sounds like there might be some sort of Filter set that is "removing" some of the ideas from appearing in your timeline view:

@Nick Haller no, this is the first thing I have checked. I have no grouping, no filters, no sorting in the view. The ideas have same fields filled in, but some of those are visible and some - not. I thought maybe there are some other fields that might be affecting those ideas, but can't find any exceptions. Out of 14 ideas, I only see 11 in the timeline.

Ok, found a "bug" myself Start and target dates were mixed up Sorry for confusion.

Thank you, it seems an easy thing to notice, but it's not. It possibly could have an error message when you set the target earlier than the start, which would save some time for people like me.
