How to track all the changes in a field?

Question

Hi all,

I would need to track all the historical changes of a certain field.
E.g. have a list of all the changes of a date field, starting from when the idea has been created, possibly even who changed it and when.

It will allow us to track how things have moved since the first discovery phase.

Thanks

I'm not sure if there is some built-in option to fit your case. I can suggest trying Issue History for Jira app from my team. It records changes for custom fields. So, you can filter by the "Dev End Date" field or any other field and get changes.

Here is an example with "My field":

There is a 30-day free trial, so you can check if it works for you.

I have a "Dev End Date" field and I would like to get an extract of the history changes of that field only for all the ideas in a project. I cannot manage that with a filter (I can handle custom field somehow) as it takes a snapshot, not the historical data with all the changes
