Due automatically dates added when I add a cover

Question

Tonight, all of a sudden, when I add, remove, or edit a cover to any card, it also adds a due date of yesterday to the card. When I try to remove the due date, it adds it back one second later. I can set a due date in the future to the card and that will stick, but it will not allow me to have NO due date.

I have disabled and deleted all power ups from the board which did not seem to help.

Hi all,

There is no automation linked to due date at all.

The activity log is saying I am doing it (not via butler. just me)

For what it is worth... the issue resolved itself for now? Today it is letting me remove the due dates. Nothing has changed between Friday and today. So a temporary blimp???

Just to note, there is not a trigger for card cover changes in the Inbuilt automation engine...except it it is adding or removing an attachment

It could be done via an external automation.

It is worth looking in the activity log at that time to see what it says. If it was by an internal automation it will say "via butler"

Sounds like someone might have added an automation - I'd check that first.

To check this:

* Go to the Board
* Selection Automation (either from the menu, or using the lightening bolt button at the top of the board)
* Open the Rules tab
* See if there are any rules modifying the due date
