Filter is updating view for everyone? How can people filter on their own criteria?

Question

I am noticing that users are filtering on their own name to see ideas that are assigned to them.  When they filter on their own name, it is filtering the main view for everyone.  So no people are fighting for their own views.  I am not sure how to make sure people are not interfering with the main view and if they want to group or filter their own way, it does not disturb other users.

We 100% need the ability for personal vs global filtering. This is the biggest blocker to Jira Product Discovery fully replacing our ability to completely roadmap in Jira.

I second the desire to enhance the view options to have personal views that aren't visible to everyone so you can make the changes most useful to you without effecting the big picture.

Hey Jeff,

As Sam mentionned, you can disable Autosave on views,

or create different views for different people (and put them in folders)
