Sharing ownership of trello boards between colleagues

Hi Trello,

Some of our teams use trello boards in microsoft teams.

This is all very convenient, untill the one who set up the boards leaves our company.

Is it possible to share ownership of the boards, or transfer ownership from an account of an ex colleague?

Hi @Jay Warmenhoven yes, definitely! You can have multiple admins on a board and anyone who is a workspace admin can manage all boards within your workspace.

Thanks for your reply! We approach trello through microsoft Teams, does Trello pick up on the hierarchy in Teams then? Since I am one of our administrators for MS 365 and thus Teams.

Or do we need to register a company profile with Trello?

@Jay Warmenhoven Teams and Trello are completely separate apps, so the user management will need to be managed separately. What you're looking at is an embedded version of trello.com from within the Teams app. A seperate Trello account would have been created in order to access Trello via Teams. If you're not able to access the Trello workspace settings from within Teams, you can just do it via the web version.
