How can you copy a card in to a different board while keeping all the custom fields and 2 way sync?

I have a Master Board that splits a job up for different departments. I want cards to be copied to a board for a specific department since I don't need every department to see all the steps that they aren't involved with.

I do have an automation:

when a card is added to list "Step 1 - Mold Making - Job #", copy the card to the bottom of list "Step 1 - Mold Making - Job #" on board "MM (TEST)" and link the cards together, remove the "Step 2 - CNC" checklist from the card, remove the "Step 3 - EDM" checklist from the card, remove the "Step 4 - Mold Making" checklist from the card, remove the "Step 5 - EDM" checklist from the card, and remove the "Step 6 - Mold Making" checklist from the card

So this automation does move a card from my Master Template to Specific Department Board. But certain custom fields don't show up,  I'm guessing due to no values being in them, but I need some of them to be included. Is there a way to copy the board that includes all the custom fields even when I'm not using them. Also when my board is copied it includes all the checklists that's why in my automation I have to remove them, but in the Master Template the cards in there already have the checklists removed so I'm not sure why it's not copying the card without them.

Also is there a way to have like 2 way sync between the cards so if I changed anything in a card in either boards the changes would apply to both, not sure this is possible without a Power Up like Unito or Placker or something like that.

Moving and copying cards with Custom Fields

When the card is moved/copied, Trello checks to see if you already have a field on the new board with the same name and field type. If so, the card will use the existing field definition on the new board. If it doesn't find a matching field, it will create a new field.

A card that has an empty value for a custom field will not create the new field on the board to which it is copied or moved.

A workaround is to put a placeholder value for the empty custom fields like - or _. 

Also is there a way to have like 2 way sync between the cards so if I changed anything in a card in either boards the changes would apply to both, not sure this is possible without a Power Up like Unito or Placker or something like that.

Correct. Only one-way sync can be done with automations. We don't recommend using automation for two-way sync, or "card mirroring".
