Hi - is it possible to set up a JPD board so that empty swimlanes are automatically hidden? If not could I submit this as a feature request 🙏. I'd expect it to work similarly to the "Hide empty columns" toggle in the "Columns" panel: As a workaround, I know there's a "filter from view" button next to each option in the "Group by" panel. I'd prefer it if JPD figures out whether to show the swimlane automatically rather than me having to manually toggle every option.

Basically you asked the question within the 48 hours where the feature disappeared 😅

It was indeed a bug, preventing this feature to showing up and it has been fixed this morning. Not all sites are rolled out yet, but for anyone wondering - you should see it back in your side maximum tomorrow, if it's not the case, please let us know !

Thanks for your reply - yep, that's pretty much what I'm referring to. Except I think your screenshot is taken from a list view? I'm more interested in the board view.

Here's an example. You can see how I've grouped by customer segment, causing the ideas to be presented in separate swimlanes. What I'm after is an option to automatically hide empty swimlanes, like "Enterprise" in the screenshot.

The problem I'm trying to solve is that I'd like to group by a field which will have dozens of options, most of which are expected to be empty at any moment in time. So think the same screenshot, only 50 different swimlanes! The page would be cluttered and hard to navigate with all those swimlanes, even if the empty ones are collapsed.

I could manually hide/unhide the swimlanes using the method you've suggested, which is an okay workaround, but would prefer it if JPD does this automatically for me.

You can manually hide columns and horizontal lanes but from what I am getting you would like to dynamically hide columns and lanes (depending if empty). It would result in a board which is constantly changing its look and feel It could be very confusing for anyone who doesn't know how this board is configured.

Most probably there is another way to slice your data to avoid the above.

Did this change recently? Some of my old views automatically hide group by options that are empty. However when I made a new view I have to do this manually. For example, we have views that are grouped by assignee. We have multiple teams in one discovery project. We don't want to manually setup who should show in each team's view.
