How to get rid of multiple accounts under one email address?

Is there a way to get rid of a second account that is also attached to my work email? Somehow I have two user accounts that both have my business email, Trello added a 1 after the second account. But people are tagging me on boards under the account with just my name only so I don't get notifications. 

Sounds like a mess and it is! I can't find a way to merge accounts or delete one of them without deleting the only email that is somehow on both accounts. 

Any ideas?

Are you able to login to both?

If you are able to have two I would imagine they aren't company managed so in your profile (https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/profile-and-visibility) you should be able to change one to be your personal email and the other your work email. That's how i have my two accounts.
