Displaying the same card across more than one board

Hi, 

Is it possible to display a single card across more than one board?

Ideally, the card would be created on Board A and also appear on Board B. When updates are made to the Board A card, the Board B card also updates/syncs. 

Is this possible? Is a power-up needed to do it, or can it be done using Trello's existing features?

If it is possible, does it have to be driven one-way, i.e., must edits always be made on the Board A card for changes to appear on the Board B card? Or can it be two-way?

How would this work if I were to also implement Planyway?

Hi Katy, 

We have a concept called mirroring cards or card syncing, but it cannot be a single card but a copy of different cards across the board. 

While card syncing isn't a native feature of Trello, you can add a link to the original card (https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/sharing-links-to-cards-boards-comments-and-actions/) on the new card so that you can refer back to it easily. When you attach a link to a Trello card on another card, it will display a preview of that card, and will show which board and list it belongs to:

You can also click on the "Connect cards" link to make it a 2-way link, so that both cards link to each other. This doesn't sync any content automatically, though, so it's really a way to show relationships between cards, and make it easy to get from one to the other.

Beyond that, there are a few third-party Power-Ups that can help you keep cards in sync more automatically. You find those here: https://trello.com/power-ups/search?q=mirror

Please note, that the Power-Ups that integrate with third-party services are only connectors between those services, and in order to take advantage of these connectors, you'll need to have an account for the other service as well. Because many of these services are provided by separate companies, outside of Trello, any costs associated with their products are also separate.
