Linking issue

Question

Hi,

I have 5 cards on LIST A on BOARD A.

I then move each of the 5 cards into a different list on the same board.

So I now have the 5 different cards from LIST A on 5 different lists on the same board.

I also added a rule that every night the 5 different cards will move back into LIST A.

My question is... as I move the 5 cards from LIST A into the five different lists on BOARD A, how can I have a copy of each of the 5 cards appearing on a single list on a different board (LIST B / BOARD B) ? And also, could I create a different set of rules for the cards on LIST B on BOARD B?

Hi Abie!

I was doing some testing here regarding your questions and yes, you can make a rule that when a card is added/moved to a list make a copy of it to another board.

You will create an automation rule for each of the 5 lists (A-1, A-2, etc) on Board A. The rule will look similar to the one below:

when a card is added to list "A-1", copy the card to the top of list "B" on board "Board B"

Regarding your second question (could I create a different set of rules for the cards on LIST B on BOARD B?), yes! you can create a different set of rules on Board B for those cards as they're copies.
