Trello Reporting Confusion

So, i'm trying to email a report - i've created a dozen of them where i create a variable and pick the lists i want to show up in the report - nothing ever comes through - so i tried using the board snapshot - everything comes out fine - but i'd like to remove a few lists from the board is there a variable i can use to exclude a list? 

maybe {$daily_remove} or something? I don't know, I am just trying to figure out:

A) why does mine not work
and can i exclude lists from the canned report

Here's what mine looks like
every monday, create a report in variable "mondayreport" with all cards in list "TIER 1 TASKS" in list "TIER 2 TASKS" in list "TIER 3 TASKS", and send an email notification to "john@notmydomain.com" with subject "Monday Report" and message "{$mondayreport}"

Thanks for sharing your report:

every monday, create a report in variable "mondayreport" with all cards in list "TIER 1 TASKS" in list "TIER 2 TASKS" in list "TIER 3 TASKS", and send an email notification to "john@notmydomain.com" with subject "Monday Report" and message "{$mondayreport}"

The above report uses the logic "AND" meaning that the card you chose should belong in all of these lists: "TIER 1 TASKS" AND "TIER 2 TASKS" AND "TIER 3 TASKS". And because no card can belong to more than one list, this will always return 0 cards.

We have an ongoing feature request where there is an option for the cards to be retrieved from different lists, e.g. cards from either "TIER 1 TASKS" OR "TIER 2 TASKS" OR "TIER 3 TASKS" — if there's any additional info or use case that you want to share as to why this feature is important, let me know and I'll pass your information to the relevant team.

Right now, the option to select cards belonging to different lists is not possible when creating email reports until the feature request can be considered and prioritized. As of current, there is no ETA on this.
