I wonder if there´s a gantt chart add on for Jira

Question

Jira extended road maps doesn´t meet our  needs for a gantt chart. We use to contract IT solutions, that we must keep track of product customization, and project plannings for internal/external developments.

We don´t need the add on to be integrated to scrum and kanban charts. We need import capabilities for mpp and csv along with several levels of tasks' subtasks.

I think you are asking this in the wrong forum.

This is the Jira Align forum and Jira Aligns roadmap is quite limited and not very customisable (unfortunately).

In Jira the standard roadmap per project only shows epics, issues/stories and sub tasks.

But in Jira you could also add a third party Gnatt app (Teodoro suggests one above) … however my suggestion would to be to check out Jira Advanced roadmap first.

You get it as part of a jira premium lisence. It used to be called Jira for portfolio. With advanced roadmaps you can create a more sophisticated hierarchy of issue types .. eg add initiatives, deliverables and other custom Jira issue types into your hierarchy to create the extra levels.

it’s worth noting changes to the hierarchy in advanced roadmaps applies to all users and Jira projects (it’s not project specific)
