My "Public" Board requires a viewer to sign into Trello

Hi David, the link you shared above is an "invite" link. It allows users to become a member of the board, and that's why it is asking the user to sign in. If you want to just share a view link then simply share the url of the public board (the https://trello.com/b/... link in the top of your browser). I hope this helps.
