I have an excel export from my invoicing app and I'd like to have each row turn into a CARD in a Trello Project. I am new to Trello and don't know where to start.

Take a look at this article to see if you can do what you need to. For example, can you copy and paste your rows into cards? If so, that'll cover you with one copy and paste. (Obviously one time only) Otherwise, you can look into Power ups.
