when text copied from a trello card is pasted onto another site, it sometimes pastes the web link, rather than the text. How can I avoid this?
Does this work?
No, it pastes the entire link as text - e.g. https://trello.com/c/..... rather than just the highlighted text that was to be copied and pasted.
If you click "Show Details" at the top of the Activity or where you have your text in your Trello card, and then try to copy/cut and paste with ctrl-c and ctrl-v as usual.
Maybe it works.
Or a safer, but more cumbersome solution to move text:
Copy the text Before you click Edit.
Then check that it can be pasted as text elsewhere. And paste it elsewhere, so you don't lose it.
Then eventually, click Edit in the Trello Card, and delete what you want to delete there.
