I tried creating a local repository as well as cloning one from bitbucket website. I'm really new and just want it to work please.
Command: git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false --no-optional-locks ls-remote https://******@bitbucket.org/trd-niac/*****.gitOutput:Error: BUG (fork bomb): C:\Users\a*****\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\git_local\bin\git.exe
Hi @als6934, is this still an issue for you?
If yes, the fork bomb message means git.exe is calling itself in a loop, so I would treat it as a broken embedded Git. Close Sourcetree, delete C:\Users<you>\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\git_local, and reopen so it downloads Git again. If that fails, install Git for Windows and switch to it under Tools > Options > Git.
Does the same clone work from a normal command prompt?
Cheers, Martin
