How do I create a active component

Matthew Hermann

I am pretty sure that I can create a component, and a component group

e.g.

Component group  " NYS Dairy Farmers"

Component children  " Johns cows"

                                   " The Herd Farms"

So on...  I want to let subscribers get an auto email when say they update their information page.  How do I make the child object actually do that.  From what I can see  its not as simple as a hyperlink or anything like that.  I could see that maybe using some type of smtp notify when regirstring on those sites , but I really don't know.

Thanks

MEH

Hi @Matthew Hermann ,

Happy to help!

Can you clarify what you mean by an update to the information page, are you referring to updates to Components or Incidents? This article might help with determining what you could alert Subscribers on by method: https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/notification-event-triggers/.

Please let me know if the above helps!
