copy and duplicate cards

Hello,

I'm new to Trello and it's great so far.

I have cards that I need to keep in a couple of lists so I am copying them.

I want to be able to update the card and have the copied card update itself. At the moment I seem to have to manually update both versions.

Is there no way of linking them so that they update simultaneously?

Hi @Anna Loucah - welcome to the Community!

What you're referring to is what a lot of people in the Trello community refer to as mirroring cards, or synchronising cards. 

While card mirroring isn't a native feature of Trello, you can add a link to the original card (https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/sharing-links-to-cards-boards-comments-and-actions/) on the new card so that you can refer back to it easily. When you attach a link to a Trello card on another card, it will display a preview of that card, and will show which board and list it belongs to.

You can also click on the "Connect cards" link to make it a 2-way link, so that both cards link to each other. This doesn't sync any content automatically, though, so it's really a way to show relationships between cards, and make it easy to get from one to the other.
