Can you open 2 Trello cards side by side?

Max Egert

Hello,

I am not sure if this is a feature but is there anyway to open 2 Trello cards at the same time to view them side by side? If this is not a feature, I feel that this would be very beneficial towards users and would love to recommend it to the Trello team. Please feel free to share your comments/feedback on this type of feature. Thanks!

One thing I've always found useful for Trello is that it easily runs new instances of your boards in a new browser tab concurrently. You can have as many separate tabs, or browser windows open, as you need; I tend to have a core three boards open as pinned tabs.

So it is no problem to open the same board as you are currently on again as a new tab, by right clicking it in the boards list and choosing 'Open in new tab', and then select different cards to open in each tab, working on the same board, if you like.

You can then open this tab as a new and separate second browser instance window if you like (or three or four, etc., etc.), and arrange them on screen as you need.
