What JIRA Product is best for our use?

Hello, I need some help. I have started as a Project Manager at a small company and I am trying to find what JIRA product is best for our company's use. I need to use JIRA for company wide larger projects in an AGILE environment with Sprints where I can break a project down into EPICS/Stories/ Sub-tasks etc.

We have another group that is using JIRA for ticket tracking and some general task TO DO lists.

Yet another group using Monday.com for dept. task TO DO lists for general tasks that repeat with each small project they work on. In other words, they sort of copy and repeat the same tasks for each graphic project they work on.

We are looking for a JIRA product that would work for us or at least a set up so we can all be on the same instance of JIRA and switch back and forth between the JIRA products. Is that possible?

Jira Software offers a good project management mix with Epics, Stories and Sub-tasks. In addition, you can create Scrum and Kanban boards configured with filters for you to act on what really matters.

These boards bring some metrics AGILE ready as the work is done, such as: burndown, burnup, sprint report, etc.

Take a look at the documentation and see more features that you can use with jira software.

"A" product is a tricky answer. We do similar, In the project space, we use the following:

For engineering sprints, stories, etc, we use Jira Software. (this is the module most closely aligned to your question).
For task tracking/project planning, we use Jira Work Management - it's very close in functionality to monday.com - but bears the benefit of improved integration with other jira modules
For documentation, status, etc, we use Confluence
And finally, for pipeline and funding planning, we use Jira Product Discovery

Note you may have other teams using other jira tools already, too. For example, it sounds like you may be using Service Desk. Your dev or tech ops teams might be using Bitbucket, OpsGenie, etc.

Thinking about how to integrate the tools for your company will really help guide you to the best selection(s).

Thank you Fernando. That is what I have been using now on a trial basis and it seems to be working OK, I was wondering if there was something better, but it sounds like I am on the right track.

Agreed. We use the same, except Jira Work Management (we don't need that).

We have another team that will use Jira Work Management and it will work well for them, so this is a perfect set up.
