Force Bamboo to not allow builds during specific times?

Tod Higman

We have some bad interactions happening with Bamboo.  We think that these could be solved by having Bamboo not allow any builds for one hour per day.  Is there a way to set an 'allow schedule', where Bamboo only builds plans during specific hours?

Thanks.

Hello @Tod Higman

You can use the Bamboo REST API to instruct the application to pause and resume its operations.

• https://developer.atlassian.com/server/bamboo/rest/api-group-api/#api-api-latest-server-pause-post
• https://developer.atlassian.com/server/bamboo/rest/api-group-api/#api-api-latest-server-resume-post

It would also be interesting to know what is happening to your system, that way we may suggest other strategies if we knew the issue in detail.

Thank you,
