FishEye\Crucible failing to clone a Git repository

Question

I am unable to clone one specific repository in Fisheye using either https or ssh. Test connection to the repository is successful in either case, and other repositories configured in the same manner work fine. The errors I see in both cases are below with the repository link and Stash hostname removed. Any help would be appreciated. The error seen when using https is: "Unable to clone remote repository: - [POST git-upload-pack (554 bytes)] - Cloning into bare repository 'clone'..." The error seen when using ssh is: "Unable to clone remote repository: - [, Read from remote host : Connection reset by peer, fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly, fatal: early EOF, fatal: recursion detected in die handler] - Cloning into bare repository 'clone'..."

I've got this issue occurring for a couple of my repos.  I'm not sure if the case is the same, but the error messages are.  The repo's that fail for me one ones that have enormous files.  We host our own homegrown git server (not a Stash instance) and have noted that when FishEye is polling the stress on the git server is really high.  Cloning a repo outside of fisheye can take a long time.

I ponder if there's a way to seed a repo into fisheye on the backend in some way.  After the initial clone the repo runs just fine.

I am facing same issue , when i clone using tortoise git it is working fine. But its not working in Fisheye

Hi Lucas,

We have the necessary port open on our firewall, and other repositories on the same Git server cloned successfully in Fisheye. When setting up this repository in Fisheye, the connection test is successful. I have also tried disabling Host Key Verification of the Git server from the Fisheye server, since when the repository is started in Fisheye it will display a warning stating that the Git server was added to the list of known hosts - before displaying the early EOF error. However, this has not helped.
