Trello Desktop Notifications on Mac, are they possible?

I'm pretty sure this used to be a feature on older versions of Trello/MacOS. Is this still an option on the latest OS? 

Does anyone know the status of this feature?

I would like to make sure I receive reminders, even if the trello app is not open or active.

Nevermind. I found it under Trello settings. I had to send a test notification to get the OS to recognize Trello as a notifier. There was no link to enable this under the notification "bell" dialogue like it appears in the tutorial video.
