Sourcetree for Mac is terribly slow and often crashes

Sourcetree v 4.1.9 (245) and several previous versions.

Mac Monterey Intel Core i7

And I am using system Git the latest version.

 

New old story.

Sourcetree is terribly slow and often crashes.

It slows even during commit message entering/editing.

It work not that slow just right after restart. And that's it. I work with 2-3 middle size repositories. But it seems it doesn't matter. Even with onbe repository it's not a work it's mazo.

 

Any advice? Maybe you you can suggest some older but fast anough version? Maybe some configuration tricks?

 

And Attlassian! Please either fix this "tool" or I don't know. It's a shame

Thanks for contacting us. I have few question to you, that should help us to identify the issues you described. Could you please provide the answers, if it's possible?

1. You mentioned, that Sourcetree is crashing. Could you please collect all the crash reports from Sourcetree, archive them and give us a link to download? This way we will understand situation better. We already working on crashes fixing, but your crash reports also will be helpful. You could find crashlogs by opening Console.app -> Select "Crash Reports" at the left panel and find Sourcetree entries.

2. Could you please send us your Sourcetree log files? You could find logs using Console.app. Open it and navigate to "Log Reports" item in the left panel. Find entries with com.torusknot.SourceTreeNotMAS name.

3. Maybe you remember which version of Sourcetree became terribly slow for you? 

4. Any additional details regarding Sourcetree or repository configuration are welcome.
